Have you ever been driving down the interstate and see a lonely shoe on the side of the road? If yes, do you then wonder if there is someone out there frantically searching for a missing shoe?
I see these ALL the time. I've wanted so badly to start documenting it, but how would one do that without getting hurt on the interstate? I wonder things like, "how does this happen?" "do they know that they lost a shoe?" "How is it a dress shoe?" "Could I keep driving around and find the other one?" "why just shoes? why not a sock or half a purse to complete the look?".
It's very befuddling! If it were my shoe (and I don't know how or why I could possibly manage to lose a shoe on the side of the road) I'd turn around and go get it!
